I wear pantyhose to an interview

I’m old school and I wear pantyhose to an interview. And guess what, I rarely wear a pants suit to an interview. I know I look good in a skirt, so why not dress in a way that is professional and becoming? After I get the offer, I can dress in slacks or w/o pantyhose as long as I’m not breaking the dress code. I’ve read all the comments and they have been helpful….but if you do decide to wear pantyhose to a job interview….what color?!?!?! If wearing a black linen suit, white blouse….would you wear a sheer soft black, or a neutral color?? Please feel free to post your opinion…have an interview tomorrow…would love your feedback!

Can I buy your well worn shoes and socks?

No men – m4w. Any ladies out there younger than 30 have well worn shoes and socks that you no longer need? I can pay up to $25 per pair depending on what you have.

Here are some of my favorites:

- Converses worn without socks
- leather sandals
- Flip flips
- Dirty, sweaty socks

Nylon pantyhose as make-up for the legs

I Think of pantyhose as make-up for the legs. If you take a 10 – 30 minutes in the morning to makeup your face and do your hair, and pick an outfit, then why not take an extra 5 minutes to makeup your legs. More and More younger women are wear hose again, and they are showing up on the fashion runways too. They are making a come back. All be it slow, I do see more women wearing them lately.

Shorts with tights and sandals

I wear Shorts with pantyhose and sandals all the time in the spring , Summer, and early fall.. I like the way they look on me, and so does my husband. And judging by reaction I have received from men when out, and some ladies, other people do as well. To prove my point I went to the local mall with my husband (who loves to see me and other lady in hose) and walked through with skirt and bare legs, and not one person made a remark or gave me a second look. The next day we went back to the same mall, and this time I had Tan color silky hose on, and a skirt, (I wear shorts with hose as well) and my husband walked a few steps back, and men kept doing double takes my husband told me. When we went to the food court, 2 different guys came up and asked for my name and phone..

Why don’t girls wear tights/pantyhose much anymore?

Why don’t girls wear tights/pantyhose much anymore? Tights are the best thing in a woman’s wardrobe so why don’t you wear them? They are/must be good as men are wearing them more as they’ve see the benefits of them: be grateful you can be seen wearing them (men have to keep their tights hidden!!!). Girls wear more tights/pantyhose. There are lots of sexy patterned and colour tights out there.
