I was having a talk with a friend of mine who would be attending an evening wedding tomorrow. She loves to wear pantyhose and since she would be wearing a sandal for the wedding she also wants to wear a pantyhose with it. I do not think it is correct because I do not wear them with sandals, but I want to be sure if it is a fashion mistake to wear pantyhose with sandals or not.

Certainly the type of hose in your picture would not be proper to wear, but not all pantyhose have a noticeable darker toe sewn in. Having worn pantyhose once with a sandal-like shoe… I only remember my food rubbing all around and sliding, and eventually giving me some blisters.
